Since it seems that was caused by the inability to insert DLC, is there any chance Torque will get his own DLC for FP2. The boss in Final Dreadnought 3 may be a nod (physically, not strategy wise) to the Devil Monsters in the entirety of the Mega Man Franchise, especially the Yellow Devil and the Shadow Devil due to similarities in the eye says that Sky Batallion is like Storm Eagle stage, but the boss is like Cyber Peacock.Īlso, the boss for Dragon Valley is DEFINITELY inspired by the Giga Aspis, the intro boss for Mega Man NBlast says that Final Dreadnought 3 was inspired by Infinity Mijinion's stage from Mega Man X6, and that the spiky enemies in Dragon Valley were inspired by Mets.Īny more inspirations I have missed? Please talk about them in the comments. SO excited that Freedom Planet 2 is coming out soon so I'm unlocking everything in my PC copy of FP1 again as a way to get hype for the new release and it got me thinking about Torque and how he didn't get to have his own official campaign and is stuck in the Beta version. As such we've had to put the project on hold until we can regroup. Unfortunately the Engine in it's current state is proving to be impossible to insert DLC into in a stable enough way to support all of our platforms. Fixed enemies sometimes appearing too bright in gameplay. To make it clear, since we still get threads about this: The DLC is on indefinate hold. We will try our hardest for a prompt Wii U release for both updates, but we can't be certain about it. Fixed final boss not taking explosive damage correctly from Torque Bows. Spade requires additional content and will be released sometime next year. The first DLC set includes Milla's Adventure mode and Torque as a playable character, and will be released on PC/Mac/Linux this December. Hello everyfluffy Starsanity64 here, also known as FluffyFurret on Steam, and this is a bit of a small video of Freedom Planet. Theres trouble around every turn, from insects to giant robots to sheer explosive destruction, but youll have a variety of special fighting abilities to blast your way through each stage. Weil/Veil from the Mega Man Zero series, due to their similar goals and methods of achieving them (albeit Weil/Veil is more extreme in his acts, and wishes to eradicate all humans and Reploids while Lord Brevon simply wants to get the Kingdom Stone to power the Dreadnought ) Freedom Planet DLC is coming soon We will be releasing our DLC in two batches. Freedom Planet - Freedom Planet is a combat-based platform adventure that pits a spunky dragon girl and her friends against an alien attack force. Lord Brevon seems to take inspiration from either Sigma from, again, Mega Man X, or he could be inspired by Dr. While I find no inspiration from Mega Man within the three main characters, I do find the Chasers (the group that Torque is a member of) to be inspired by the Maverick Hunters from Mega Man X and Zero, while Torque himself is almost directly comparable to Mega Man X from his self titled game series. For some of its characters and elements, Freedom Planet borrows a bit from the classic Capcom series, Mega Man.
